meeting room
meeting room
Hi, it's about for days (since I have bougth Kray) I'm doing some test.
This is the result... Unfortunaly, I have a predominance of red and yellow but i don't know how can I fix it.
Anyway, give me some comments and/or suggestions.
thanks to everybody.

Re: meeting room
The red and yellow come from your light and surface setup. What kind of light setup do you use?
I also see splotches in the corner - too low FG settings probably. Can you show them?

Re: meeting room
pretty nice start... congrats!
You'll have to do something about the splotches in corners and give it some textures, they are missing woodynes
the light is nice overaly. A starter tip - to make the light more soft and get rid of the overburned areas - use a photon multiplyer in lights motion plugins panel - try setting it up to 500 and increase a bit the LW light power.
good work !

good work !
ethyline fumes - a smell of the iron angels

Re: meeting room
About the light, I have used a spotlight (trasformed in an area light by Kray with "spotlight to area checked"). The light is 1 Km far from the objects and the color is 5500 Kelvin. No photonmultiplier used.jure wrote:The red and yellow come from your light and surface setup. What kind of light setup do you use?

I also used a texture enviroment with applyied sunsky procedural texure... The layer opacity is 350% and the bright is setted to 500% or something like that (I have the scene on my pc at office, now I am at home with the laptop.) The predominant color of sun sky is white/charming.
About the FG, I have used a custom parameter from 1000 rays to 2000 rays. 500000 photon in GI, N 600
About the surface setup, the problem is the indirect bounc from the floor. I have desaturate it at 100% with the apposite pluging... Before to use it, the render was completely orange.
At the end I've used Kraylinearworkflow setted to gamma 2.2 exposure 1.6
Tomorrow I'll be at office again and I'll send a screen of the parameters.
Thanks for your answer
Roberto
Re: meeting room
hi roberto, good work.
your test with kray are very good!!!
if you delete the red/orange effect to the wall i think is a good point for set kray.
in this scene you have used skysfere or textureenviroment?
light to the windows?
i know the answers and i know that you want a best lighting only one sun

Re: meeting room
Hi nico, you Know all that maybe because we know personally, we live in the same city, my and your office are at maximum 600 m far each other.... and yes, you know all this things because we talk by phone everyday and also because sometimes we meet just to do some 3D test...
and, yes, this afternoon we should meet to make together some Kray Test
And the funny things is that we are Italian, we speak the same language, but on this community we talk in english
You know, we are too crazy... and at the and we can't still use Kray like Jhonny Quick and others great 3D artist of this community... damn it... help us...

Re: meeting room
I think 5500K looks too orange. I usually make it more yellow... but that's just metalats wrote: About the light, I have used a spotlight (trasformed in an area light by Kray with "spotlight to area checked"). Sunsky is not the best for light. Try skydome with image (HDR or LDR)...
You can decrease FG rays alot if you use local oversampling. Try adding this command to the tailer:talats wrote:About the FG, I have used a custom parameter from 1000 rays to 2000 rays. 500000 photon in GI, N 600
Code: Select all
prerender 1,2,0.01;gradients_neighbour 0.1
You don't have to set desaturate to 100% when your surfaces/lights are correctly setup.talats wrote: About the surface setup, the problem is the indirect bounc from the floor. I have desaturate it at 100% with the apposite pluging... Before to use it, the render was completely orange.
Do not change exposure in QLWF plugin. Leave it at 1.0 or your textures will get weird.talats wrote: At the end I've used Kraylinearworkflow setted to gamma 2.2 exposure 1.6

I am a lightwavers, I used to render in Lightwave and Fprime... A day a friend named NICO told me: ehy, Kray i better.... I bought Kray.... I asked to the same friend to give me some tips and he said: kray is better, for sure, but after one year I still don't understaind how to use it

Re: meeting room
It's all about lighting and surfacing... Don't feel bad if you can't make images like johny yet... He's superhuman anyways!

Re: meeting room
Jure, my light, my angel, my Kray Master... I'd like to load you in Lightwave Master Plugin... And after that push the button "make a super realistic render without become crazy!"jure wrote:It's all about lighting and surfacing... Don't feel bad if you can't make images like johny yet...
