Room with IES
Room with IES
Tried the IES loader node from DPont on this one. A TV room somewhat like the one Johny posted here.

btw Room is too empty.
Could You render with Dof from another camera?
Re: Room with IES
An animation of the room is cooking overnight and I can render out another POV with DOF tomorrow (gotta love those tech-abbreviations).Johny_quick wrote:Nice ambient TV....Florian wrote:Tried the IES loader node from DPont on this one. A TV room somewhat like the one Johny posted here.

Here is the Animation. Took around 6-7 min. a frame.

And another camera view with DOF.

I think so. I see them from time to time when I use the IES node, but usually only when there are a lot of IES lights in the scene._mats_ wrote:Are those little white dots caused by the IES?
Not sure if it's a bug with the IES node itself, or Kray's implmentation of nodes. Easy enough to find out though I guess.

Have you thought about baking the texture the node creates? All the IES plug-in is creating is a transparency map. Just drag the node to the colour channel an bake that.Florian wrote:Yes, those are caused by the IES light. Dont know if Lightwave shows them too or if this is only a Kray problem._mats_ wrote:Are those little white dots caused by the IES?

Shaun.
I could but I would prefer if it would render without baking because that will take an extra step.Nemesis CGI wrote:
