Lets say I am testing a scene at 1k and I am happy with the photon solution.
If I double up the resolution more photons will be fired If I am not wrong...
Then, can I just try too get the same looking at 2k that I was getting at 1k just by changing the N number untill the number of photons matches so the render time doesnt go to high? Will the quality be sacrifice?
Cheers
Resolution and number of photons
Re: Resolution and number of photons
No photons are not dependent on image resolution. They are based on scene size.inakito wrote:Lets say I am testing a scene at 1k and I am happy with the photon solution.
