Here is a character animation exercise rendered out in Kray. The animation was done in Maya with the set, textures, pin dynamics, etc. done in LightWave.

Re: Let's Go Bowling!!! (character animation)
that's cool! What gi mode did you use for rendering in kray? Shared allow animation or interp? Did you do multipass render?
I have encountered that if I use kray to render the character separately and made the bg unseen by camera, it takes kray almost the same time to render out the frame with the bg visible ( single pass render). So I fake the lights for the character when I render the character only.

Hey, thanks guys!
It was 'Shared for all frames' with 'Allow Animation' selected & cached the GI. I did this one in a single pass. Nice trick with faking the lighting on just the character only pass.geo_n wrote:What gi mode did you use for rendering in kray? Shared allow animation or interp? Did you do multipass render?
