I'm trying Kray v2.58 in LightWave 2015 / 2015.1 / 2015.2, and no matter what I try, it crashes when I hit render from the GUI. Is there something I should be doing? Anyone else seeing this?

Re: What improvements would you like to see in Kray next?
As well as being more tolerant, stability is the other issue. Maybe it's just me, but I manage to crash Kray far too often when just playing with the settings, because of this I've stopped using it, it's a real shame, Kray is clearly a great engine, and I really wanted to use Kray on real jobs much ...

Pretty cool, although does look more like unkempt grass than carpet, love to know more about how you're doing these, instancing onviously, but setup etc.

Re: What improvements would you like to see in Kray next?
One thing not on the list I would love to see is Kray being more tolerant with crappy geometry, often imported stuff from CAD programs that is too much work to clean up can cause Kray to balk, whereas LW, FPrime and modo all seem fine with it.

Re: Cityscape 'St James' animation
Awesome porn music!
Nice anim, some parts remind of the that cool interior work that that bloke did, can't remember his name now, lots of detail shots with DOF changes etc.

Re: render preset
Download uncompiled scripts from the downloads page. Open kray.ls and browse to line 493 - this is where presets are stored. ok I'm trying to modify presets... how can I recompile scripts? (sorry about ignorance!) thanks You don't really need to, compiling them doesn't really speed them up in anywa...

Re: Railings
Awesome lighting, although I do agree with 3DWorks, some of the metal is too "desert chrome" which is making it look a little CG, most noticeable on the first image hand rails.
But apart from that. Cool!

This is something I plan on doing, just trying to find the time. But don't expect renders like Johny Quick's right out of the box!
