hi guys -
Does anyone know what causes these render issues on the ceiling?
I looks like overlapped polys, but I triple-checked and all seems to be OK on that front.
Any clues?

ok it is fixed.. it was some issue with the geometry.. it looked fine on paper though.. non coplanar, no single polys.. no overlap..
strange
I remodeled it and now it works.

i dont know what to look at in the upper image, looks nice to me but the lower seems to be lacking enough photons or the irradiancemaps cracks due to low N-value (photons arent enough to fully sample all surfaces)
Now when it renders fine, have you changed lightsolution in some way?

Thanks for the notes though ! I will work on the GI settings, still working on that
