Exterior

Post by azman_821009 »

Hi!. I'm Lightwave & Vray (3ds Max) user & new in Kray. Now i follow step-by-step tutorial for interior (tutorial from vizualizacije). But, when i try to render exterior, it's more complicated than interior. Can anybody help me? Please..

(Sorry for my english)

Thanx..

What is more complicated? What problems did you find?

If you're using the skylight plugin, you probably want to use a lower value in the value field so that the sky remains blue.

What i means for word complicated here is for example, Vray very very easy to learn, setting for rendering & etc but Kray very difficult. Maybe for view interior it's ok for me, but for exterior.

Thanx.. :D

Well they both work very similar so there shouldn't be very much difference... Exteriors are very easy to setup in Kray. Just add sun and sky :)

Ummm, with my limited Vray experience, it seems that both renderers are very similar. Also I don't see what is so complicated about exteriors. Did you try rendering an exterior? If you did, what problems did you have (if you had any). Be more specific if you want help.

Generally for exteriors, you need the same setup for interiors with lower exposure and lower value in skylight (if you use that), maybe different gamma and... well, umm, I guess I still don't see what is so complicated about exteriors.
