Re: simple interior
No velvet shader = no effect
But still is good without.

Re: simple interior
Velvet shader? Plugins?

Re: simple interior
Maybe I did not clarify: render is without any velvet shader/plugin but still is not so bad.jonathlee wrote:Velvet shader? Plugins?
Re: simple interior
Hi Janusz, is there any velvet shader / node we can use now with Kray?

Re: simple interior
Here is example from V-ray how should look velvet shader: In LW does not exist any velvet shader or plugin which gives really good and natural effect. Of course K3 will have his own shader system include needed velvet effect.jonathlee wrote:Hi Janusz, is there any velvet shader / node we can use now with Kray?
The velvet effect is quite complicate to simulate because in real world contains a lot physical effects (include SSS). Photon transport on the surface has complex behavior so that effect must be done inside render engine. I think simulation by Nodes gives only "half" effect even if Node is special done for that (I think in V-ray, Node velvet gives access to part of code which is responsible for velvet effect render so this is not only simulation like in LW).
Re: simple interior
Thank you very much Janusz for the explanation. Been trying hard to create velvet effect but so far no good results.
Hope K3 would be coming very soon.

Re: simple interior
The velvet shader is on the list with high priority. This shader and also Ani Reflection effect are very important for interior renders.
