very nice. I like it
but maybe the luminosity inside is too low.
put area light for each windows with inv dist color blu and power 0.3 exponenzial 1.8/2.0
sunsky brightness 150/200

What about using the photon multplier (what Johny calls the "power shader") for the floor?

i use all this except "power shade"?

what is this? apply photon multiplier to the floor?

My setup:

- Sunsky 200%
- Sun spotlight 100% whith photon multiplier 500 - 4
- Area light whith 200 - 2
- QLWF gamma 2.2 - 1.0

Salvatore how do you apply power and exponenzial to the area light?

Thanks for the comments

no to the area light but power in Kray and exponenzial instead the gamma.
When you use area light working better exponenzial.
inside the room put some celino (area light with 50% and photomultiplier 500-6 and inv dist 1)
test the advice :?

I don't pretend to be an expert with Kray by any means, but I don't recall seeing a single image here (or anywhere else for that matter) which uses the ceiling as light source successfully. This may be because I haven't realised how some scenes have been set up or I don't understand your suggestion properly though.

Kray can apply a photon multiplier to surfaces so they bounce more light.
This is what I understand by the "power shader" and it has been used successfully to brighten interiors without firing more photons and causing overburn on surfaces closest to your light source.

Is nice to know different method to learn a little of all.
I don´t follow all coment, but help to me to understand why anyone use this or other and take my own way better for me.

But i think too that iluminate the ground is a fake that i dont like.

I fix now my scene of some problems and now understand better the techniques uses in kray.

There is a little update of my fix scene.
Now im working on understand of animation.
Yesterday i have problem with flickering and undefined contac shadows and now fixed.

1.- Undefined Contac shadow: i fix this on FG tab reducing distance max 3000% to 300%
2.- Flickering fixed increasing AA setup. At the first i think that appears for low FG setting but is for bad AA. Now FSAA fix this problem to me but so much slow render times.
3.- I remove my volume instance carpet because duplicate my render time. I need to learn how to reduce this on AA time, because on FG is now optimized with kray shader. 11min fps withouth carpet, 26 mins fps with carpet. If anyone can help me on this point....

Thanks to all for your patience with me specially to Matt and Erwin Fabrique ;) !!!Beer for all!!!

PD: Rendertime 11 mins and not PS retouching, original kray render

Illumination is better now. You need to work on the materials...

Thanks for comments.
I use the method i read on 1 post.

1.- sun spot light 100% yellow and 6 photon power
2.- Sunsky plugin (at begining bad sky, now nice sky)
3.- Area light on windows ( moved to other layer and unsee by rays) 80% intensiy and 2 photon power
