Nice work Markus! These show just how good Kray is getting compared with Maxwell.
Would you mind sharing the model?

It would be interesting to see just how close Johny gets to the Maxwell scenes with your model and textures, and his new settings.

I'm betting he gets results that are just as good :)

Nice maxwell render. I wonder if maxwell is any faster now? Been years since I tried it. Hehe.
The kray render could use a some curve adjustment to bring out the colors, etc.

As it seems it's all matter of taste now... I kinda still like those Johnys renders better, maybe maxwell has better photorealism, but for customers the appealing "V-ray style" Johny is after is much better in my opinion. Of course this depends on wether client wants realism or appealing - close to realism - 3D...

But yea, all is good, I just hate the noise in Maxwell renders :)

bigstick - fair enough :)
the point was about the mirroring being so much a part of this project, i was not suggesting he change his marble-type to match the image ..

anywayskiies - some great lighting here indeed.
