So the grass is actual geometry, not textures or sasquatch?

Yes. It's the grass polygons that are instanced across the plane...

one question:
the istancing it's a beatifull system but there is a slow of the rendering time?

:lol: plant render same speed then house...just need select shader with poor QMC...
this last render was around 10-20 min (without DoF)
