My studio render

Post by Sample »

Archmodel 51 :)
Help my settings...
I have an old computer, so the time to render even if you are not worried:)
But perhaps something can be done better ...
I am still a novice and do not understand in all settings.
I would be grateful for the assistance

6 hours is fairly high for that resolution.. even on old computer

in quality tab use a recursion 1-4 or 2-4 max, remove the recursion of 10 in tailer, you dont need it (washes out detail), instead use a multiplier in photon tab its the key to getting more light in.

Your antialiasing setting is way too high, grid 4 will suffice in most case, catmull is best but also slowest so try one of the first options in that pulldown menu. Use thickness of 1 (and upsample of 1 because of the small detail).

Use 'limitdr -1' in tailer to help AA

For reflection quality start off with 100-300.

hope this helps, cheers

btw, i never use whipped cream in my cappuchino ;)

keep up the posting..

Looks very good. If the render times would be less this would be perfect for car studio renders too.
