Saving renders
Does kray have a save render button after rendering? It just so happened that I was test rendering with the highest setting just to see and then after some time it finished but the render was not saved because the directory didn't exist anymore. I move around the content folder a lot. Really its wierd not to have it. I wasted the test render

I see. Could that be a minor feature request.
What I do usually is save the contents directory with images, object, etc folders to a new contents directory folder. So when I save out all these and delete the old content directory. Then render the new file, kray still remembers the old directory and wont save. It does`t even notify of the missing directory until its too late.
I`m using Save project plugin to do this btw. I do this to send files to other pc cleanly and orderly.

Thanks. Really this function is very needed. All renderers have it after finishing. I didn`t change folders or delete folders during render. I think the save plugin just carries the old directory even to the next set of files. Haven`t tried it with lightwave:s own export content files yet if its the same.jure wrote:aha, ok will add this to feature request. Although Kray should give warning if the directory doesn't exits. Unless you changed folders during render.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to have an option (header/tailer command?) to make Kray save the render in the system temp directory as well as the nominated location. The filename could be hardwired so we would know what to look for.
This would cover situations such as geo_n's, but also when the nominated output location is, for instance, on a NAS disc which may for some reason not be available at the crucial moment.
