Pretty nice renders! AA could be a lot better, chrome surfaces are always the hard part to get good AA to, but other than that, the lightning is quite good as well as the modelling and surfacing!

I used PM, the room is a closed room without any windows and the scene have only one lamp in the top and the two photometric lamps.
Renders times:
About 13 min the scenes with big tiles.
About 24 min the scenes with little tiles.
Same setup.

Here is the scene with the new towel, without any post. Render from kray to hdr.

use limitdr -1; if you're not rendering to hdr to help AA those highlights better

maybe You add 4 spot lights on ceiling (80/15)?
they make better brightnes.
