Tip #3:
Use an area light placed far from the scene instead. This only works with light mapping, and don't expect to get good caustics from the sun!

i play with a new beta witch have drastically improved caustics from distant lightsources. This beta will hopefully be out in a few days.

Silverlw you will not say, the speed of render did increase? and if yes that approximately to is how much?
