Are there any surfaces which don't have any blurred reflection
The only thing which my eye gets drawn to are the plates and chairs which seem a little over exposed IMHO.
Is this another Vray scene? would it be possible to post a link to some V-ray renders of this scene?

Render with quasi-random is not good for DoF in this scene. I increse Grid (now is 8G FSAA Catmull - better and faster then quasi-random). This is test blurr - all surfaces have reflection and blurr (without wall and ceiling). Kray can render blur very fast, this scene render 1:20 h....... This render is stright from Kray - No Photoshop postproces! (I used in tailer cmds Kray: B/D Multiplier, desaturate).

In TAILER CMD please type:
recurse 20; limitdr -1;postprocess mult,(1.8,1.8,1.8);postprocess gamma,0.9;postprocess desaturate, 0.4;
AA have little bug : not ideal detection or bad filter, we will try with Grzegorz fix it.

I tried Johny's settings on another scene and ended up with lots of blotches. Actually when he has posted settings before I also ended up with blotches. I guess this is partly because he uses Photons Estimate Precomputed mode. I don't know how to get rid of them. I guess one of my settings must be wrong - anyone have any ideas?
Also, the shadows from the window are very blurry, which I have found typical of this mode. Is there a way to make them sharper, or is this a limitation of this mode?
Normally I use Photon mapping with irradiance caching, but Photons Estimate Precomputed is quite different. It can be a lot faster, so I'm quite keen to learn more.
Lighting is by a large spotlight sun, this is what I get:-

You're using normal precomputed, which is a mode that is for analysis only, to be able to see the cells.
In this case it's telling you that you need more cells combined to smooth out the solution (increase N), and you can decrease the amount of photons a bit.
Either render with 'precomputed filtered' or Photon Mapping for final. I know that I've been using precomputed filtered for some images on this forum, but it's rare that that gives good results. You will have no contact shadows.
If you want sharp shadows you need to enable 'raytrace direct' in precomputed mode. In photon mapping mode that happens automatically.
