The zip archives you posted seem to be extremely corrupted. I managed to get a few of the files working, but most of the texture maps are broken beyond repair.

Oh.. :? I used 7zip (opensource) to zip the archive but used it with standard zip algorithm. i will look at the archives again when i get home.

Ok, guys :?
I was roaming the net and bump on this new render engine etc.
I spoted the scene that I buildt and donated for the challenge at 3DAllussions some time ago. Anyway, there is a render of that scene at the main site gallery, as well as on the few threads on this forums.
I appeal at you to do the right thing and give the credit to the original author for the modeling, like you did for the scenes modelled by Marko Dabrovic and give a link to the place where you get it from, i. e. 3DAllussions. I already found my scene at several sites and woithout proper credit, so you may be the third or fourth hand in that, but please check this link and do what is right http://www.3dallusions.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1052

Yes I hope you are a Minority. It must be real hard to type. I retrieved this from. And this Is the person who created the model. Look I just did it for you ?Copy and Past.? You do know How to do that? It? would be a travesty to the 3D CG community if some day Free was no longer In the Vocabulary and every post of every render had to have a wire frame accompanying it. Without a model all you have is a Infinite ground plane. Anyone can render that.

WOW! I think the responses outside of the original poster are very fair and diplomatic. I would think that the author(s) of Kray would want to promote the protection of an authors work since their product is going to be out on the net and they wouldn't want everyone downloading 'Warez' versions, just like an artist doesn't want people using their work without credit given.

But I am sure that admin isn't aware of the issue and would rectify it immediately if they knew. I imagine 'Silverlw' is just unaware of professional curtesy and proper etiquette ;)

Hey thanks for that nice reply Silverlw...it is so very curteous of you to speak this way to the original author of the model. I mean whats the big deal in modeling the scene...afterall its just some furniture placed here and there and some walls and curtains and paintings...its so easy to make it....why would one bother giving someone the right credits

Infact I have a great idea...why don't you try donating a scene that you have done on your own to the CG community (I'm sure there must be something thats your own) so that the likes of you can use it all over like you have used Branok's model

I'm locking this thread since it caused too much conflict allready.

Silverlw has been very respected member in our community and have shared a lot of his scenes and setups with the community allready.

I understand Branko's frustration, but as he allready realised it isn't always possible to know who the original author of the model is and weather there should be any credits given or not.

I'll make sure that the author gets his credits on this website, but next time please contact the web site owner directly and avoid starting conflicts on forum.

Sincerely,
- Jure
