Hmm im stunned. Since we have almost same machines and versions and i have never run into that kind of problem " the memory could not be read".
Is this really related to Kray or could this be a page-swapfile/temp katalog that is corrupt? (scandisk) Does this happends with all scenes or just one?
Have you loaded incredible high resolution textures of thousands of pixels or?
If the problems occurs with just one scene please try to pack/send it so we could fix it. Im reachable at crapmess@bredband.net

Apparently a very difficult error to sort out - I've seen it attributed to problems with internet explorer, java, hyperthreading, the RAM timings, amongst other stuff. However, if you don't see the error with other apps, it's unlikely to be a hardware problemo.
Just a few steps to try to begin with (assuming you're running Windows):
Make sure Windows Update is, err, up to date. Reboot.
Clear out your Windows Temp folder, clean up your registry & check for other system errors (ccleaner is excellent for this so long as you're not on 64-bit Windows), empty out your prefetch folder. Reboot.
Try renewing your Page File (if possible, move it to a different disc or partition, reboot, move it back, reboot).

Hi Silverlw
i am having problems also................
its a simple scene with two layers of objects one layer has around 400.000 polygons the other 30.000. everything is fine if i use the medium QMC preset but if i up the quality to high, kray will only render the smaller of the two objects in the scene. is it possible to upload the object file to you?
its 28mb..................
regards
richard

Hello thanks for al help!
I have now almost started from the beginning but a new problem have arised. When the render is just to be finished it stop and saves just half a picture. I also get the varning of to low Octree depth.
When I used 250 in octree depth the picture did save ok.
Do that make any sense?
Thanks Peter

The first part with a half picture is an anoying bug that happends sometimes when doing antibanding. According to VPII it happened everytime he rendered until he removed the glas windows. I have never noticed glaswindows causing this behaviour but if you scene get's this bug because of it we are very interested to look at it.
The second part about octree... When Kray tells you that octree is low it just means it is not optimal for the large scene you have but it will still render but might impact speed.
If you have a large house with plenty of furnitures and stuff in it and one highpolyobjects in a bookshelf, the highpolyobject in the bookshelf can take very long time to render due to low octree but it will still render. IF that happends you might need to raise octree to get a boost of speed but octree values of 250 are skyhigh. If it would actually need 250 i guarante it would eat all your ram and crash. Mostly octree 20 is enough but sometimes a value of 30-40 might be needed for above situation as i explained.

I have tried without glasobject and it still wont work.
It dosent matter if i use a higher octree depth.
Its a pain, just when the render is finished it crashes.
If its not the glas what else can be wrong?
Thanks!
