I have to make more tests but in this moment using Final Gathering is senseless. I get twice faster time and of course almost ideal accuracy (very close to Path Tracing).
Time render i7 CPU 4.5h or 72 HT dual Core: 35 min.

That`s the surprise for me, it seams QMC mode in new Kray works very fast!

I noticed that too. Not exactly twice faster but quite noticeably faster.
Also I have been rendering non stop for couple of days with 2.62 version and no 99% freeze happened.

Actually freeze happen (especially on Dual CPU)...I sent info to G.
About QMC, is VERY visible speed up!.

So it seems I was lucky about the freeze.
I am guessing the problem appears in Garagefarm too and it could be a reason for some of the failed frames I get from time to time.

To upgrade Kray to this latest version, do I have to re-install completely or can I simply replace the files in the plugin folders?

- override files
or
- rename actual "Kray.p" to for example "Kray.p2.61" (this is if you want keep previous version) and simple add new one
When you will start sene in LW you will have automatically new Kray.
No installation plugin needed.
