Small Interiors
New test of Nodes in small interiors. Thanks for Art-Attak (http://www.foto-mable.pl) for furniture's photos.

Re: Small Interiors
Even though a trained eye like us can always (like 9/10 of the times) spot the real reference from the rendering, I think that for everyone else is probably really hard - if not impossible - at this quality.
It's still k2 right?

Re: Small Interiors
Are these full 3D, or is the furniture comped in?
Re: Small Interiors
As usual first class.
Carpets super soft and fluffy.

But for me most important is setup surfaces: 5-10 min for each image in Nodes.
K2 still but very soon official K3 beta

Spited images full 3D, all sofas: compositions.thomas wrote:Are these full 3D, or is the furniture comped in?
Re: Small Interiors
That's funny, because I thought your renders looked beautiful, as they always do, but only the sofas looked a bit flat and artificial

Re: Small Interiors
I think it's because they are shot under controlled light using flash/strobe and fill panels (it's clearly visible from shadows, light direction and color) probably mixed with some natural light. It's very common shooting like this for catalogue or magazine for example, but they fit the scene in a different way.thomas wrote:That's funny, because I thought your renders looked beautiful, as they always do, but only the sofas looked a bit flat and artificial

I hope so! Lightwave has desperate need to keep up with the industry standard, and this new update can only be a good thing for the future.Janusz Biela wrote: K2 still but very soon official K3 beta
It will be a public beta or only an official announcement?

Hey, Janusz, where do I go to find your latest thinking on nodes? Have you put up an example yet?
