Re: Exterior house.
I think it's quite good
Some things in my opinion need a little work.
Sun light looks litle bright.
Maybe that because render need some more contrast.
It still the same problem in my renders too.
I like big contrast between light and shadow.
Maybe add some deep cloud shadows and then render begin looks like move like.
I'm still working at this same effect in my work.
A lot of renders in bright sun looks flat.
Your is not flat, but try a little work with shadows to make him deep.
Try some experiments with another bitmap sky to take your render to moody style.
Building is quiet good. Grass and bushes too.
Trees are always difficult, maybe some correction in photoshop.
Road to clean. Try to mix with some textures and make some dirt.
Maybe shadows could be little blue....
I know this sounds like a very bad critique, but it's not
I like it
Everything what I said is what I could do with this in my own way.
I'm still learning too, and I'm not perfect
Sometimes different point of view could be very helpful
and could discover some unexpected solutions.
When you are working a long time at one project,
you start to loose your own critique.
You are not able to see some bugs/artifacts.
Especialy when you are working under preasure!
Polite comments are not always make progress.
I have just posted my work for client too.
Fell free for any comment. I'll be grateful.

Re: Exterior house.
Yeah I understand your comments
This was done on a very fast deadline. All in one day.
With more time/money, then more detail i guess.

Re: Exterior house.
Wow. If it was all done in one day, then good job. Impressive!
I know that, when project is ones done and paid,
it is hard to refinish it again and improve it in your own way,
especialy when it was made to stisfy client's expectation.
It's always nightmare...Im still looking for some motivation to this

Re: Exterior house.
...the most important is how you deal with your pipe line system. If you know very well modelling software, scene set up software, render software, fast and accurate surfacing, accurate post processing - then you are on correct track. It is NOT important to use the best modelling software or the best render engine if you do not have good pipe line system which connect all together.
