I tested last time very strong setup for Final Gathering to get really good contact shadow...but I could not, even with crazy High setup (this will be updated in K3. Is strange bug - I have to ask G. why Contact shadow is that strong depends from resolution...it should not) So when I start to get good contact shadow in Final Gathering (not perfect!) I noticed the time of render start be close to QMC...so I gave up. I think in Old Kray is just better to give up FG for QMC even if time render is 50% longer. In the end It will save time because no errors , splotches, no setup.brownie wrote:Thank you.

But it's still noisy, and the rendertime is not so good. So I'll keep trying to tweak a couple of settings

You have noise because to bright up this space by very samll object You had to raise up luminosity up to 2000% or more (I suspect) - of course this will affect noise because photons are too strong. So better use extra light or Power Shader.sorry Janusz but i've noise too this setup!!
