Hey plz helppppppppppppp . first i was doing modeling ex... and in the same time do test renders . i did mybe 300 test without crash so
when mybe i add obj or i dont know lw crash . juste hit render crash . also when i cleared the scn and i send obj from modeler to layout also when i hit on render also with raytrace mode its crash :/ :'( plz help plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz thank u plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz .
sO NOW I OPEN PREVIOUS OBJ VERSION AND SEND OBJ TO layout not crash plz can we know how to dissolve crash in on obj or some model i dont know but i know its from obj .
So on obj 01_v022.lwo not crash but its less obj
on this 01_023.lwo crash also for 01_024.lwo.
The reasons of crash can by many:
- bad wire
- Node
- problem with memory
- problem with another plugin
- Bug
The best method to find:
- hide all layer except walls (also all furnitures, etc)
- add one by one each layer and check render up to receive crash
Repair: when we get layer which make crash
- turn OFF all Nodes in this model
- separately turn ON up to moment when we get crash
- check setup with NODE (if problem comes from Node of course)
So resuming Procedures
You must make exception tree (from general to details) to find bug...so You start with procedures similar to tree in this order:
1. Layers
2. Objects
3. Surfaces
The same procedures we do when we have not crash but when is error in render (strange splotches, "hot photons", "hot pixels", no GI in some region of scene, etc)
This can take ~ 1-10 min depends from scene to recognize where is problem.
There are some kind of rare errors which are RANDOM (they are the worst - and most of them coming from bugs in code) - very difficult to find and "fix".
