Hi!
I am working something with sea material and dielectric gives me a nice result from birds-eye perspective (especially i like the absorbtion), but from human-eye perspective it renders too fake (reflections). I am playing with thicknes node into gradient and than into color filter but the result is not that good. So, does anybody knows how to set up shader nodes that would simulate dielectic material node?
Simulate dielectric material with nodes
Re: Simulate dielectric material with nodes
Could you show an example? Also it might be good idea to post this also to newteks forums in Nodes workshop sections... There are some clever heads there that could help you out.

Hi!
This is what i figured out and it kinda worked for me. The depth of sea bottom is around 30m and the lagoon around 1m-3m.
Enjoy!
