Time Interpolation settings

Post by pienri »

Ciao,
I have an animation with opening doors and walking people and i read that the best way, in this case, is to compute animation in Time interpolation mode. But how is the best settings for this mode?

Yes then you must use Time interpolation mode. You will need to use a lot of photons too. Frames should be kept quite low if doors are opening quickly 1-5, if door opens slowly it can be larger value. Extinction can be left 0% or you can play with this value. What it does is it gives more importance to the current frame when blending frames GI.
