I've been doing a few test renders with Kray, but mostly on Arch interiors.
I got back into objects and here is my second object rendering with Kray.
I'm pretty happy with the results. Too bad Kray isn't ready yet for comp work, because for the whole animation (1575 frames) i will have to use lightwave's native render.
Thanks Jure!
I had some parts, but it needed some recreations from scratch for some parts or cleaning.
The alpha channel is not really accurate, it doesn't take in account the oobjects that are behind and opaque. If my object is 50% transparent and there is a wall behind, it will show the transparency of the object in my alpha channel while I shouldn't.
Also, I use a lot unseen by camera / rays, or the alpha channel value in surface object to have objects visible for the render, but not for alpha. Plus, I like to use ligt exclude for some objects so only some of them get affected by a certain light.
I don't find I have this flexibility in Kray. They are tricks that are time saving while doing compositing.

whoohoo, no room!
I have the left machine here in my office, and the middle one at home, but not the Krupp one, the magimix variant, almost same, it is black with the same outlet as the left one.
Great renders!
wireframe looks like a SolidWorks conversion?
Yes, they are great machines! The coffee is just a little bit expensive for us non-sleeping buddies!
It is solidworks for most parts. I had to rebuild some parts with Rhino. I tried to get only quands, but surfaces were crappy, so I just took those triangles.
