photorealistic render
photorealistic render
please send me a picture of a render done in kray that looks super photorealistic and if you have a video of how you used lightwave and kray to do it. Please tell me how kray stands up to mental ray, renderman, maxwell render and vray render when it comes to photorealistic render? I really want to buy this program but I need to see something that is done in kray and super photoreal please.
Re: photorealistic render
Didn't you look through the gallery before posting? Some of the images there are definitely as good as anything any other engine can produce. The main thing with images this good though it the person creating them. It's an obvious thing to say but it just isn't as straightforward as setting a few options and clicking on the render button. Sure unbiased engines can give brilliant results with minimal input (if you don't mind waiting for hours and hours) most of the time but for 'super photorealistic' images you need real talent.
The thing that you won't get from the gallery though is Kray's speed. This is the unique thing about it. You can get awesome images in a fraction of the time it would take you with Maxwell or Fryrender. As with Vray, if you know what you are doing, image quality can be just as good.
Speed is comparable to Vray. Sometimes faster, sometimes slower depending on the scene and the setup. It is also a lot easier to use than Vray - far less complexity. Cheaper too I believe
