Old project with new KRAY

this was my first freelance project last 2 years ago. have some free time to re render using the latest kray build. CnC

I like the lighting, very natural (did you use phusical sky? And wich value for photon power in GUI photons tab?)
good balance between brightness and contrast (did you use tone map blending?).
nice glasses and balance among transparency and reflaction (did you use incidence angle gradients or fresnel node?)

Some Textures need work (the stone wall under the house, the walkway, the gutter, the walls etc).

Grass is too flat (use istances or Paolo's grass... for this view maybe istances are better while Paolo's grass is better from an high distance).

Anyway, fair job.

this was an old model, no nodes used. i think LW has no node surfacing when i did this model. i jsut load it and didnt change anything but just render with kray and see what it going to look like. trees n sky are PS. attached here is the setting i used in kray, i marked with red box to show only the changes i did. phy sky with sun off. "medium" preset setting. i use area light as my sun, with inverse sq.m, 1 km away. no tonemapping just kray QLWF. this settings may not work with others but doing a lot testing QLWF or tonemapping until i get that balance that makes me :) then that's it for me. thanks for all your views.
