It's a very good start!
The only thing is the lights, you could add some IES to get better light effects and more realism.
Check Denis Pontonnier IES node.

Exporting pass
By the way, Jure, I've seen somewhere that we could export passes, but my version which is the latest I think doesn't get this feature (in the tailer).

slow render?
Hum, I didn't notice slow rendering, I thing people get used to really fast rendering, but when you have reflection, refraction, many lightw, caustics and many ray recursion, you must just be patient I guess...

Really NIce work Except, it really shows a difference. The more Lightwave improves, the less I see people being able to show the true powe of the changes.
