For me, the VRay render takes more advantage from the more saturated and lighter background, that makes more "bluish" shadows, while the less saturated backgound in Kray image makes them more gray. I don't like the pool in both images, and in Kray render I think plants gets too light green...

My DemoReel

Hi all, this is my DemoReel 2008. It's all done with LightWave and more than half the scenes are rendered with Kray.

Hope you like it.
Ensure you have installed the latest QuickTime version.

CCTV is a shader and, as all LW shaders, it can't be seen by third party renderers and so it isn't supported.
I wonder if NewTek has planes to release a node version of this shader..

if I remember correctly, the right command is gradients_flags 0+1; it enables FG sampling during prerender pass only.. however, don't worry about all those commands: in future it will be much more easy.

well, not spent so much time in tweaking, and I have to absolutly learn to set AA because it was about 8min/frame plus 7min/frame for AA only.. I'm doing something wrong. There is no shared GI file because illumination changes continuously. FG settings can be quite lower in future tests because they...

my machine is AMD Athlon64 X2 4200+ with 2GB RAM DDR. for surface settings, I've translated the nodal setup to layers.. well, with all limitations we have (example: absorption), so I've setted color as 244 200 151, diffuse 75%, specularity 10%, glossiness 20%, translucency 60%.. same values you can ...
