What are the best/most important specifications for a render pc.
Offcourse i work with Kray and i make a lot of highres visuals and animations.

If you use After Effects or Fusion then 64 Giga RAM is minimum (with a lot RAM you can turn on multi CPU calculation for animation - is really worth)
Here is test software...if you are under 2000 pts then forget rendering.

2000 points? I get 160fps for OpenGL and 886cb for CPU, this is my setup:
Intel Core i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00 GHz, 16.0 GB ram.
So basically I should get a Xeon rig with 32 GB ram?

...rendering has no sense under 2000 pts...is waste your life time.
With 3500 pts you can start think about Maxwell.
