Nice job. It would be better if carpet will be less visible (with this camera view carpet seems dominate over image). Also wood texture on the wall seems for me too big scale and visible connection (or maybe must be that?). Cloth material needs more attention with quality and effect. Maybe is time to start render with QMC sampling?

Yes! This is the best idea for increasing skill: photo references. I found another references for this scene with (I think) better camera angle:

We can notice that wooden wall is build from plywood material and has connection between them.
