Last render in Kray - Update

Post by Janusz Biela »

.....of course I talk about K2.x. Next will be in K3
This is WiP and these renders are fast previews (low Area Light quality and low QMC setup) Renders around 20 min so quite long if we talk about preview renders, but we must remember this is QMC (Uncached). Final efect will be of course different but I do not know how much, still many changes in scene, also with light.
I have plan to render it by Path Tracing (it will be 4 times longer then QMC in low quality) so 1600 pix will take ~10-15h which is very good time comparing to Maxwell
...I will back
edit
I replaced WiP. All comments welcome (most critic welcome more  )

Standard setup.
If is too dark (especially in level 0) then Area lights in windows. Level 1 has no Area Light because more light coming from SunSky. Extra light from ceiling (there a lot dark surfaces so must extra balance light. I want keep scene according to photo references.

Man, it will be hard for you te get better, the level is already high!
You should showcase your work even more in other places, people need to know what good "artists" can do with a few tools.
Inspirational as usual

Here reference photos...of course is different because I did not want make the same. Maybe design in photos are no high class but I took it because it was nice challenge for me, make this scene with more "life" and "light ambient" feeling. Difficulty in scene was small windows and dark surfaces, so I had choice to over burn this as everybody does by many lights in scene or...make ambient light and still keep it shadow.
Model I made from photos, why are some differences. Also I wanted test my Nodes (some new update ideas inside).
