Yes 11.5 works perfect and I suggest stick with this version
Grzegorz got some bugs from LW users (sometimes is hard to fix it when he not receive lws and lwo files). I send now mail with asking what is the status of K2.x.
Anyone able to load the new 2.54 build (I'm using demo version) and use it LW11.6 gold build? Mine is still crashing with simple box scene and light portals using photon mapping.
Just simple scene with BOX, not textures or anything. This update also crashes 11.5 which use to work. Can you provide a 2.51 DEMO link on the download page as well as whatever ends up being the 11.6 download version, as they will be different correct?
Can you check your configuration?
I suspect your Lightwave 11.6 loaded Kray for LW 11.5...
To prevent it, please delete all Kray plugins and place only for LW 11.6.
If you use LW11.5 good idea is rename kray.p (for example kray.p_ )
If still are problems please post information.
Both scenes render correct here also my test scene.
I'm seeing the same problems in 11.6 (final build 2723) and KRAY DEMO. I can render a blank frame, but if I add a cube (with layout modeler tools) and render it crashes.
Also the .p file in the LW11 dir doesnt work for lw11.0.3/11.5/11.5.1 (render options button is greyed out in render globals render tab)
If I use the lw9 plugin it works for all lw11 versions and renders with no crashes, but obviously it must be missing some features

Why I am all the time stick with old Lightwave and I update only for major changes.
Data of plugin is correct.
I think problem is with last Lightwave update.
To be sure delete all kray files and place all necessary scripts lsc from common folder.
Besides not working on lw 11.6, I also can't use 2.54 on lw 11.5 says plugin can't start. So I revert to 2.51 and it works again for lw 11.5. But I'm back to square one with no workingkray for lw 11.6.
