excuse me but i've a problem of setting AA in my render.
i render my image in 1200*600 low and x2 or x3 for high resolution.
when render in high resolution i'ven't problem but when i render low i see only pixel....and this is a problem.
what's the best AA setting for still image low and high?
help please
in attachment a portion of a low render
setting use:
cubic - 3 grid - 0.5 filter radius - aptive full scree e rotated
i've this problem from kray 2.0....now work with 2.2 because i've wip to send in next week.

btw BOX 0.5 is quite too low, this make AA more sharp. (suggest 0.7 - 0.8 )
Re: AA problem
thank's johny tomorrow use this valure...

catmull for?
grid? mitchell etc??

Re: AA problem
This is just different mathematical formula for AA. please use BoX filter 0.8-0.7 minimum, is fast, and enough balanced (smooth/sharp) to receive good effect.nico wrote:thank's johny tomorrow use this valure...

btw
AA depends also from tonemaping, more exponential then more smooth AA is with same filter.
