Vray light select render element

Post by larry_g1s »

Pretty neat feature in Vray 2.0. Something that would be nice in future version of Kray.

I am not sure , this looks as only exception from source light in surfaces. I do not see any big differences in general room`s GI after changes power of lights... so this is not full support GI connection between surfaces and lights (this is very difficult to do in code) So , for me this is fake GI trick  Maybe another video will show more details...

I see what you're saying, and it make a lot of since. But where I disagree is that ultimately it's the final composition that matters. So if one can tone down/up the over all look of a particular set of lights, then it ultimately gives the artist more control.

Right, but this is one render and we're discussing the features, not this particular render perse. ;)
