Create lightmaps for game engines.

Is it possible to only render a GI & lights only from Kray for Texture baking a light map for a games engine?
So far my cheat in lightwave is to cache the scenes GI & then set all surfaces to white & render. I end up with a map that has the colour of the GI, shadows & lights only. No surface colour visible. See sample images.
Top image is what I'm after, the green is coming from the GI.
