Odd normal smoothing error?

Hmm.. just made a simple setup to test a few things.. but it goes wrong right away.. :|

So I got this scene and the main light is a bit behind and to the right of the camera. When I have all materials to say 80% diffuse and all the rest off, I get this:

As if the normals are exactly the wrong way around or so :|
When I tick "double sided" in material editor I get:

If I tick "smoothing" too, I get this result: (which is more or less similar when double sided is turned off btw)

Which actually makes sense.. is this a known bug? I couldn't really find it somewhere. I am using 1.7 OB 5, have viewport on shaded solid or similar and tried a bunch of other stuff..

I can live with putting all materials on smoothing... but am wondering if it is a problem with my scene or a known issue..

Never had any error like this one. Which LW Version are you using? Can you upload the scene for us to test?

Ah sure, and the version is 9.2

Can't really figure out what's going wrong...

Sorry but I cant reproduce the error here (with LW 9.3). My renderings all look correct. I noticed that you have the maxwell plugin in that scene. Maybe this is causing the error? I dont have maxwell so I cant test this.

Hmm thanks for trying... I haven't figured it out yet.. made a new scene, uninstalled Maxwell and tried some other stuff.

I'll live with it for now then untill I get some more time to put into this..
