this is pure ambient occlusion, with 50% ambient light.
no GI.

roger, excuse but for all the trees you are a render farm? 8)
i've problem to render less trees on quad core and 4gb ram.

the speed may depend on the complexity of the trees?

rendered on 2 quadcores and 2 dualcores in a farm. 12 cores...

tested 1 frame on a single-core about 30 min. pr frame...

4 Gb memory on all computers
via ButterflyNetRender (the best rendercontroller) :-)

the tree was made in Onyx... (if I could i would post mys scene, but it's not legal to give away object made in onyx)

but when Kray become more render-farm-friendly, i probably buy 2 more licenses...

thank's, i asked the rendering time for scenes with so many trees on my pc takes a long time

so i've 1 quad core and a one 2core...how can create a small "renderfarm" for kray?

you could use the "free" version of butterfly net render... then you have 2 nodes
1 controller "your computer"
1 slave "the quad"

it's easy to install

I rendered with ambient occlusion NO RADIOSITY!!! that's why it's fast.
