Try FSAA G4 or G5 Mitchel.
for info You can post this in HEADER: renderinfo '%kray %ver %time | Core2duo 1.6ghz'; usemultipass 0;previewsize 5000,5000;
usemultipass 0; make FSAA in one pass.
previewsize 5000,5000; make preview window Kray render to maximum size 5000/5000 pix
Thanks. Now I have a big problem. I just added a wine glass object to the scene and the render time went up a lot! Dont know what's wrong. The glass has common glass material and I removed the airpolygons.
i think there should be a basic material library for kray available that's been tested to work efficiently. I checked the glass material in kray interior tutorial 1.7 and it seems different setting is needed.
hmmm.... just try it (no double sides on glass! just basic setup)
Glass in Kray is perfect and fast.
Ofcoarse You can use fallow on colours and diffuse when You need.
hmmm...this glass seems bad.
How many bounce You use? Do You turn ON FG reflections and FG transparency/refraction? (this make better quality).
This is my old render (Only HDRi as light) 6 bounce light.
Recursion 6. Both fg on. I think its just bad environment or because there's no environment so the glass looks horrible. kray glass has 100 diffuse, 0 spec, 0 gloss, 0 refl. Seems weird setting to me.
But still I dont understand why its so slow in prerendering.
joreldraw wrote:Hello, i now have the same problem with glass. Super slow render times with this.
But whith some test the problem that increment x5 render time is reflection bluring. This is on 0% but work....
I add to my glass the "KraySurfaceOption" to control Reflection bluring and render times now are fine!
Try Node Dielectric: this is POWERFULL node glass. For example : set color green and refraction 1.3. This is all! You will recive extra quality glass with nice green effecy on the borders. I thing this is much faster glass then normal LW glass and better realistic.
This node great render milk glass or blurres surfaces just need some tweak.
