IES Lights

Post by NiGMa »

Hey K friends,

I would like to have those nice downlight shadows/textures on walls when using lights on our internal images. Can somebody give a brief explanation of how to do it?

I've read some of the threads about it but cant figure out what to do.
I see that people used to fake it, but now it is done with a node by Denis? Is that correct?

Hows Johny quick doing his? I like the way his looks. =)

Thanks

yep done that and its not working, it complains on scene load that the plugin is not there. The one in the kit has a different name, I suspect thats why it cant find it. =)

Yeah, the name of the plugin changed during the process.

See http://www.newtek.com/forums/showthread ... hlight=ies for more details.

Just reassign the node again. Easy as that.

Yes this is very good link for scenes.

IES is very easy but You must remembering: under FPrime use strong lights (500-1000%) for IES to see it....
