I have played some little with kray 1.7Oß2.
I have made a simple scene with a 99152 poly tree (no clip map, only polygons without any transparency) and make 13 instances of this tree on a simple ground.
The instance feature is really cool

I have trying to render a 25 (640x480) frames camera animation with GI on low setting.
As light a simple inverse square falloff spotlight with spot to area ON.
the average frame time is 16 minutes on my quad core 3ghz PC.
The GI is shared for all frame with "Both" ON.
I thing the rendering time is pretty slow with low GI setting... specially when applying AA (the last pass)
With GI off the render time is very fast (about 25 sec)
Does somebody has an idea for improving render time or instancing with hight polycount (1 388 128 polys) is naturally slow?
Have I to click on "Load" instead of "Both" for camera only animation?
