LW 8.5. kray misc tab empty

Post by NiGMa »

So I updated my kray menu .ls and now I can use new features like texture baker extend edge and the FG passes settings, however I cannot set commandline options because the kray misc tab is empty. =(

Any solutions to this? I am still using LW 8.5 because I do not get much rendering work.

Plese update your Lightwave. Minimum for Kray is now Lightwave 9.0 (in package are three version of Kray: LW9.0, LW11.6 and LW2015)

I would like to but I need some money first. Any tips on getting work? Do you use freelancer, Elance or others?

Here are some of my kray renders. I would appreciate your comments. (BTW I cant use nodes because of LW 8.5 =( )
this one is from years ago, but still okay, has some splotches

No nodes no quality. Today you have two choices to do CG:
- making HQ surfacing and use less post process - this is the best solution for animation
- making basic quality (as most people) and go strongly to Photoshop...but this choice will close you way to animation.

I use first solution. Renders maybe are not perfect but I can use images in animation system because I do not need "paint" renders in Photoshop with hundreds layers.

I would prefer the first option also, I love striving for photoreal.

So do you think I could get some work with the quality of the renders I have?
