Thanks Janusz. Hopefully more features video/images comes out soon to keep newtek forums interested.

Btw I mentioned this vray optimizer before.

Something similar for modo renderer now.

Its good to take these concepts and try to apply it to make a simplified kray render setting optimization.

i think kray 2.55 menu is already optimised . if u want something like this i think kray will be in one button dat mean u will miss "artist" skills . so evryone can use kray with one button render ex..... for newbie they think dat easy and what kray can get as result "the matter hit one button " nd for expert user ofcourse they known where kray limite is.

so pls dont wast time to do somethinkg like this we want good news like displacement ex.... fast render gpu abd cpu mixed for rendering ex...

Have you used fprime? It was the best out of the box renderer in its time and still very useful today for animation. It didn't have any complex settings at all.

Vray and modo now are trying to simplify the settings to get good results in any scene 90% of the time. This is huge time saver in real production. While other people are tinkering with render settings, other users are producing finished work already.

I witnessed Fprime launch back in the days, what an awesome tool it was, cannot recall anything eversince giving me that OMG!!! experience I had back then. I even still use fprime today in my daily workflow (just as preview and mostly as a quick surface selection tool).

Concerning renderers it seems new ones hit the market every month now or so, but I still like Kray best, maybe Vray will give better results but I hate Max interface and it's way too expensive. A while ago I played with Lagoa web based rendering and I was surprised by it's quality, ease of use, hardly any settings so it seems they all head more or less in the same direction, simplify settings and just use 'make great render' button :)

I got info about K3 Engine: now is recoding new Luminosity system in Kray. So except full supported physical light from LW, it will be special system created for polygon luminescence: read this as faster render, better sampling, less problems with strong luminosity level.
Coding K3 going according to the plan (there is no delay!)
