Re: Texture Help
Are you using Kray's linear workflow tools?
If yes then the issue could be that the texture has already effectively been gamma corrected (as all images are so as to be viewed correctly on screen); so when you render with Kray and it applies it's own gamma correction, you are doubling the gamma correction on the texture making it appear overly bright and washed out.
I'm new to Kray so I dont know if it has a feature to fix this; Lightwave's native linear workflow tools takes this into account (removes the gamma from the image files then re-adds it at render time).

Re: Texture Help
UV maps are quite a wide subject. You can do it in 3 different ways (which I prefer):Alek6 wrote:I mean in general
1. Normal UV mapping from Modeler. I hope You know how.
2. By texture Guide - which sometimes very much help (transform normal mapping to UV)
3. By PLG_Make_UV_Edit which can help if nr 1 and 2 doesn't help
All are good, but depends from situation You must know which one to use.

Re: Texture Help
Okay thanks for the link of PLG, i've heard about.
I have to work my render settings to try the surface you post because i havent got the same result.
Is it possible to change spherical mode of surface to UV texture?
Thanks for your help.

Re: Texture Help
I think you should read LW manual on surfacing/texturing. It has a lot of useful information.
