Changing renders
Changing renders
Hi, I am working on my project, changing the textures, and for no reason, without changing anything, the renders go dark. Then they remain for a while like that and for no reason it can revert back to the good result.
Do you have an idea?

Re: Changing renders
I don't what is the origin of the problem, but it's clear that when I do multiple changes of textures, I have to reload my scene (I mean completely with "load items from scene) on a regular basis, otherwise I get strange results.
Re: Changing renders
I've noticed that it happens often when I chage luminosity values.
Re: Changing renders
We know about this problem and are trying to resolve it for 2.5. The issue seems to be related to canceling render during photon shooting phase. The only solution is to restart Layout and then things get back to normal.

Re: Changing renders
yes annoying problem and hard to catch....Only restart LW or scene helps. Sometimes I got it after changing tonemaping.
Re: Changing renders
Wonder if this has been fixed. Even closing layout some materials don't revert back to original look.

Do you have a scene that shows this?jnom wrote:Wonder if this has been fixed. Even closing layout some materials don't revert back to original look.

Re: Changing renders
Well, for me it happened mostly when editing materials or luminosity of a material.

I'll see what I can post.jure wrote:Do you have a scene that shows this?jnom wrote:Wonder if this has been fixed. Even closing layout some materials don't revert back to original look.
Re: Changing renders
So with BackBurner, If you launch the renderer from your computer, it means files have to be on a network driver or that all the computers can access your locas files, right?
Then, does backburner allows multiple cpu working on an image?
