I have a scene that I am tuning and i noticed a few issues....
on these back concrete walls those holes are just recessed into the object...they do not go through to the other side...
in the render however a few of them do look like they extend to the other side which isn't right
on the steps there is also some weird coloring at the bottoms...
what exactly is going on here?

Can You render UNCACHED and with only diffuse map?

Re: Few issues (lightleak?)
here is uncached...no AA...all maps removed but diffuse (only on the steps)
before i wanted to be able to tweak the darkness of the holes so i had them on a separate material...removing that seemed to fix that problem...
I still have the unnatural coloring at the edge of the steps however
I was able to get rid of some of the light leaks in the holes by changing the material for the holes to match the wall material.....before i wanted to be able to tweak the darkness of the holes so i had them on a separate material...removing that seemed to fix that problem...

I have no freaking idea what the problem. Share scene, please.

I think the steps are fine, you just need a better environment.mdharrington wrote:here is uncached...no AA...all maps removed but diffuse (only on the steps)I was able to get rid of some of the light leaks in the holes by changing the material for the holes to match the wall material.....
