Postprocessing software

Post by brownie »

Hi all,

I often see that After Effects is widely as a post processing software of choice; but I personnally think this software is a bit pricey and oversiezd for simple tasks or for just using effects plugins.

SO my question is : do you think Apple Motion and/or Aperture could be a good option, in conjunction with a couple of plugins?

I suggest render that good as possible to get almost ready render. After that small levels i color balance in Photoshop.

You could use gimp for stills.
Ae is not so expensive compared to fusion for comping.

Thanks for your replies. I'm already a user of Gimp.
