My current test render is now better, close to the one of Nico, but with more ambient light and less noise.

But it's still noisy, and the rendertime is not so good. So I'll keep trying to tweak a couple of settings
The most impressive improvement are the contact shadows.

Now could you give us some advices about the use of Physky and Tonemapping with QMC ?

To my knowledge only 11.6 is not yet ready for KRay. 11.5.1 is stable and reliable here (Mac version with Kray 2.5.1)

Since Kray 3.0 will be totally standalone, will it support GPU as well? Yes, but Grzegorz wants make hybrid CPU/GPU because are many limits with only GPU rendering....so some part of render will support GPU and some parts CPU in the same time.
