Re: Cityscape 'St James' animation

Good render. like the dof effect. Seeing a lot of dof effect lately. Not so good presentation. I'm sure budget and time might be factors.

Re: Presets

That's why vray is king even though kray can do the same quality render. The number of resources available for download is huge. They have thousands of johnys rendering super high quality renders using what's on the net. Vray users focus more on composition than technical stuff. 3dallusion and everm...

1. Use mmb in layout to make selections. Mmb in modeller to add selections.
2. I haven't used lw that long but I use pictrix sp move a lot and his other plugin as well. Snap angle xyz.

Re: what we should be looking forward for?

Yes the light and object relation should be priority indeed.
Isn't shadermeister a shader? I think jure explained kray will never support shaders just like fprime.

Re: what we should be looking forward for?

Any updates for kray soon? I forgot about animateable sun system  About physical material, vray has yet to switch the way the materials are made, simplicity is effective and fast and some things are better not seen by the artist making things transparent. I wonder if vray would change when ...

Re: Seen by radiosity but unseen by rays

This is what I use non-stop in interiors :D Lumi Poly in windows as Rapid light. Ah so that lumi polys won't be seen in reflection, etc but still emit light? How much luminousity do you put in lumipoly in windows? I haven't tried lumipolys because they give too light shadows. If You have too light ...

Re: Physical sky setting

Not sure if its a bug. If I set turbidity to less than 1 or exposure to less than 2.2 in sky panel, kray does wierd things and calculates gi wrong.
